AIMS was established in 2007, initially to help North Korean refugees at a refugee camp in Bangkok. It was the first official fundraising event specifically focused on providing aid to North Korean refugees throughout Asia. AIMS has a broad range of proven experience in fundraising activities to help refugees who need medical support, building networks based on NGOs for North Korean refugees, providing consultation and assisting in brainstorming sessions to fully assess the social adaptation of North Korean refugees. AIMS’ range and depth of experience, ideas and passion in working on the social adaptation issues crucial to North Korean Refugees is evidenced in a large number of press articles since 2007.
